This white is made of grapes from a vineyard close to the Mediterranean coast near Languedoc. It presents subtle taste of sea salt as grapes are exposed to sea-breathe. Good value indeed to the price.
Deep ruby, medium + aroma intensity. Cooked red fruit, cooked fig, Chocolate, licorice, meaty notes. Dry, medium + acidity and tannines. Medium alcohol, medium + body, flavour intensity and fruity finish. Complex, intense, balanced, length. Not the highest finesse, but great easy drinking wine.
Very concentrated Collioure from Galliard. Deep colour and dark ripe fruits balanced with good structure and pleasant finish.
Tobacco and chocolate with blackberries
Punches way above its price point... comes across as an aged Burgundy with extensive stone displacing any sense of fruit. Very dry and quite tight...
