Well balanced, low acid. Black berry's and some dry fruits. Very good value for the price, considering that it's a French wine
One of the few French wines that I like. Wasn't sure how it would compare to Australian Shiraz but it did well. Extra 1/2 pt for price fruity easy to drink went well with spicy chili
Violet with herb de Provence on the nose, red cherry, black cherry follow through, cinnamon, cocoa powder for oak note, touch of savoriness, olive, cured meat, blueberry note at the end. Only medium acidity, medium to medium plus tannin. Easy drinking and approachable wine. Good for wine starter to get to know French Syrah
Nice nose with red fruit jam, cassis and spices. All of them well balanced. Mouth is well balanced, medium body with the red fruits of the nose follow at the taste. Some hints of mushrooms, too.
Great Value Wine.
Prefere it more thar recently drank South African Syrah... Inky deep red color. Blueberriers and plum - but aroma is not sweet, but rather deep forrest, earth forward with red meat notes. In mouth medium + body, dark bitter chocolate and dark olives, smooth tannins. South African was maybe more aromatic but alcohol was way to noticeable.
